International Poker Open (IPO) - Dublin 2017 Empty International Poker Open (IPO) - Dublin 2017

2017-09-07, 12:19
This has been a popular trip for many Midlands players in the past and for the 2017 renewal, the Main Event will run from Thursday 26th - Monday 30th October. The IPO will once again take place in the Regency Hotel, Swords Road, Whitehall, Dublin 9, Ireland.

€300 Buy-In including €40 registration fee
30,000 Starting Stack
Blind Levels:  40 mins on Day 1’s and 50 mins day 2 and Final day.
1 Entry and one Re-Entry per Flight

The IPO is one of Europe’s longest running and favourite poker tournaments with an average field of over 1,000 Players and a prize-pool in excess of €250,000. Led by international TD Nick O’Hara, the IPO team of staff run the tournament with the highest level of professionalism and game integrity. And the craic is always good. Some people drink as well.

Qualify Online
The IPO has had a few sponsors in recent years after the long association with Boylepoker came to an end. Full Tilt only stayed for one year, and Grosvenor was the online partner last year, but for whatever reason did not want to follow up in 2017 so this year the organisers were forced to do a deal with GG Poker. Unfortunately they are not licensed to operate in the UK, so UK based players were unable to get involved in their satellites which started in July.

Eventually the organisers have managed to do separate deal with Unibet, who are now also running IPO online satellites and these are ONLY available to players resident in the UK, Belgium, Luxembourg and a few other places. I havent been monitoring these but the chances are there may be some value in them as the Irish players will all be qualifying elsewhere.

If you don't have a Unibet account you can sign up by clicking on the banner below and the forum will hopefully get a few pennies if you do decide to play there - it all helps to cover the cost of hosting this FREE site, so your support is always appreciated.
