Mondays - Birmingham Grosvenor - £20 (+£10 Addon) - 3 Seats GTD

Wednesdays - Coventry G - £15 Freezeout - 3 Seats GTD

Sundays - Nottingham Grosvenor - £10 with 2 RB/AO - 6 Seats GTD (That may have been a one-off on Sunday 27th)

Not sure about Leicester, Walsall, or Stoke

Great PR as always

I may be wrong but the monday comp at Birmingham Gros ( ex gala) is satellite to the 25/25 series and not for goliath. However they do a ten pound last longer bet which guarentees a seat at 3 entrees , I have played 6 comps , won one seat for the Goliath and been heads up for the last longer in 4 other attempts . Its a nice cheap punt at a seat if you have a patient game

Yes Every Wednesday we are running Satellite for £15+£5 with 3 seats GTD, the last 2 weeks have collected enough for 5 and 6 seats and getting more popular.

We will be holding 2 special satellite with 10 seats GTD on Wednesday the 6th and Saturday the 9th August 8:30pm start.

Will there be any satellites for the 25/25 event as well?

Not on the August Schedule I've just been sent - but they are running at Birmingham Hill St on Monday nights.

It seems to have become standard practice at Grosvenor, at least in the bigger buyin tournaments that I am familiar with (eg 25/25, GUKPT) that, even though you may have pre-registered, they don`t put your stack into play until you physically report to the poker desk.

I assume that, if you had some sort of disaster and failed to turn up, you`d get a credit for the buyin, but I am not sure about that.  Luckily, it`s never happened to me.

Aspers do it too, at least in the big games.  I had the seriously tilting experience once, at the big Aspers by the Olympic Park in London, that I turned up an hour early for a comp I had pre-registered online and sat chilling in the bar only to find that I was not seated when the game started, and I was then right at the back of the queue and missed half the first level.  I hadn`t known they were operating this "wait and see the player" policy, and nobody had the wit to announce it, otherwise I could easily have gone to the desk before the queue started, when there was no-one waiting.
