Red Spade Open: $1M Guaranteed!

on 2013-04-25, 18:47

The $55 Red Spade Open returns April 28! This special tournament has a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, including at least $200,000 for first place, plus $100 bounties on all Team PokerStars Pro and Team Online players taking part.

April 28 marks the fifth Red Spade Open in PokerStars history. Can you follow in the footsteps of our most recent champ NURLAN81, who in August 2012 beat 24,497 players to take down the Red Spade Open and bank $244,979.24?

When: Sunday, April 28, at 15:00 ET
Buy-in: $55
Guarantee: $1,000,000
First Place: At least $200,000

You can buy-in directly, or win your seat for less with one of the many satellites running in the days leading up to the event.

To find the Red Spade Open in the PokerStars lobby, select the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Special’ tabs. Alternatively, use the Tourney Filter to help find them quicker - type ‘Red’ in to the filter and the tourneys will be displayed. You can also play the Red Spade Open on your mobile device - see the PokerStars Mobile page to download now.
Seats to the Red Spade Open are also available from the VIP Store. Depending on your VIP Club status, you could pick up your ticket for just 3,100 FPPs! There will also be a special 500-seat guaranteed VIP Bash satellite with a buy-in of 500 FPPs, running the day before the Red Spade Open, open to all players with SilverStar status and above. Find it listed under ‘Tourney’ > ‘VIP’ > ‘SilverStar’.

For one week only the Red Spade Open will replace the Bigger $55 tourney. This regular weekly event will return from May 5.
