If you had a Bluesquare account .......

I am trying to get clarification and confirmation from Grosvenor but as far as I can tell the situation is as follows:

If you already had a Bluesquare account, you automatically got a Grosvenor/G Casino account when they set up the new skin around 3-4 years ago.with the same login details. With the sale of Bluesquare to Betfair, BOTH accounts are lost and if you want to play on Grosvenor you need to download and register a new account.

If you only had a Grosvenor account, that wasnt linked to Blueaquare, it should still work.

If you previously had a Oneway poker account you may still be prevented from having a Grosvenor account - I have asked for clarification.

With the GUKPT coming to Walsall in July and Goliath to Coventry in August, I will try to get clarification this coming week on the above since you will want an active Grosvenor account to satellite into those.

I had a OneWay account which was automatically converted into a Betfair account. Completely useless to me, as I had a Betfair account already. They also seem to have lost my balance. Fortunately, I had very little money on OneWay anyway and therefore it`s of no real concern.

More importantly, I am barred from having a Grosvenor account and therefore cannot now play qualifiers to the Poker Player Tour (in which I regularly take part) or the GUKPT. I have spoken (twice) to some people on Grosvenor`s help desk, who assure me they will fix it and contact me when it`s done, but it hasn`t happened yet.

I don`t know that there is a great deal of logic to it. I have a Grosvenor play money account, but the automated cashier won`t let me deposit and play real money games, because it perceives that I already have an account - the now unuseable OneWay account.

It seems incomprehensible when one contrasts what happened when DTD "married" Genting. Those of us who already had Genting accounts were initially prevented by the system from opening a new DTD Ipoker account, but it seemed to take their support people only minutes to fix each such conflict once it was reported to them.

I will PM you the details.

Ridiculous - sale to Betfair caught them on the hop and they arent even answering emails at the moment. Complete screw up.

Just had an email today saying that two of the Grosvenor affiliate managers are "seeking new opportunities elsewhere". That'll be why they havent been bothering much lately. If ever a brand was in decline, this has to be it.

Well, the First of July has come and gone.  No change as far as I can see.  Sad 

Ironically, Grosvenor sent me an email link to a customer survey on Friday.  Aha !  I thought.  This is my big chance.  I will fill in the survey and recommend that they should all eat sh*t and die, since the presence of useless f*ckwits does not improve these fair islands.

It was multiple choice, with no comments box and no opportunity to offer an unscripted opinion.  Bah !   Rolling Eyes
