Played the £30 re-buy super satellite, 10 £1k seats guaranteed tonight.(last night?)

Even though I lost AA < K,3off and KK < 9,9 for chunks. I then got lucky when I shipped in blind from UTG when I ran into JJ and had 9,6 and river'd a str8.

I then double again with KK > 10,10 and go on to win seat. Also Tim (the Trader) won a seat as well.

Day 1 is Friday 2.00pm. GL me!

That was my K3o actually. I was pretty short at that point with blinds and antes getting tasty. It folded round to me in late position, so I open-shoved. Wasn`t looking for a call (obviously), so wasn`t best pleased when Fluence called and showed Aces. He was even less pleased when the board ran out in my favour, lol.

I got my just desserts half an hour later, when I lost all-in pre with KK in a big pot which had looked likely to put me up among the qualifiers.

Looks like I will have to go to DTD at the weekend instead.

Yes, I`m aware of the magazine freeroll. Apt to be about 500 players for one seat.

If you mean the rebuy satts at Walsall, they don`t look nearly as good an option as last night`s game. They start fairly early in the day and have no guarantee, so may generate few seats or none.

And good luck at DTD both of you. Mike, this is a two day event isnt it - stick your nose through the door at walsall if you want to collect a clean shirt (just got extra supply yesterday).

What days/times are you going to be at Walsall ?

aiming to get there about 1pm tomorrow and hoping to be there for the remainder of the day! Ditto saturday but if things dont go to plan may join you at nottingham lol.

OK. I will drop in during Friday, if I can bend my day to work that way. As luck would have it, I am up that end of the world tomorrow afternoon. I have a meeting in West Bromwich at noon and another in Great Barr at 2pm, so will whizz up the Mway to Walsall either between the two or after the second, if possible.
