£42,000 Just NOT ENOUGH - thoughts?

on 2018-02-26, 12:05
Bit of a Facebook frenzy emanating from Dusk till Dawn.

Jake Cody took down £42k winning the UKPC High Roller, announced that £42k wasn’t enough money and steps up to the Roulette table, put the whole lot on Black, got Rob Yong to spin the wheel and BOOOOOOM

Arrogant and offensive or just plain daring?

£42k wasn’t enough money? What do you think?

The video is pretty funny.  I can't find any reporting saying that he announced it wasn't enough money though.  That would seem a bit much if it were true given that they made a deal four-handed.

Indeed so.  Yon fellow`s exploit is all over the webbynet for the entertainment of those who are easily amused or who lack gainful employment.  Rolling Eyes

Since seeing the video and this thread i have thought it could be perceived as both arrogant and offensive but to who. Yes its a lot of money for people who earn an average wage, twice the amount i think. A normal individual would never wager this amount of money on a 50/50 spin, so in that text he is not normal. But if an individual has this amount of disposable income then this could be perceived as normal, so with this statement is he normal.

My own view being normal (i think) is we all suffer stupidity moments but he might as well enjoy it while he can, because one day he will be on a normal wage and normal lifestyle like most of us.

I still think he's a cock though!!!!!!!!!!!
