Just a little addendum: Thursday Tempest now does not have add-ons.

Overlayed £1000 last night, good chance of another £1000 overlay tonight!! Smile

The information is there - try scrolling right or click on the image to open. I have checked it on my phone and there does seem to be a problem viewing the image, so the guarantees are:

Tues - £500 ADDED
Wed - £1500
Thu - £2000
Fri - £1800 (15th) and £3500 (22nd/29th)
Sat - £1500 (16th) and £5000 (23rd/30th)

I'm sure you budgeted for some overlay while you get the games established! :-)

Meantime it seems like the value place to visit - just a pity you came up with such daft names for your comps!

When you got to "Flurry", you were regretting it, weren't you? Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Tonight`s £5k guaranteed comp will be worth a look, I think.  Could be an overlay.

I played in last night`s comp and was reminded that Resorts World has a good cardroom with competent dealers.  It`s a pity that it`s never quite taken off since launch and pulled in a bigger pool of players.  Maybe these Summer guarantees will do the trick.  I`d be happy to play there more often, if they generated prize pools sufficient to attract a greedy git like me.

One thing I think is especially praiseworthy is the efficiency of the valets.  Many of you will know my views on this.  I often play the longer comps - slow structures, multi-day events etc.  I have  sat for many long hours in some of Britain`s best known cardrooms and felt as though the management were trying to kill me with thirst and starvation.  No danger of that here.  The staff are notably alert and attentive.

Also, this cardroom uses the red card/black card method of secret voting on any proposed deal.  Should be standard procedure in all cardrooms, in my opinion, but sadly isn`t.  Goes a long way towards avoiding any argument or resentment between the players.  Helps to ensure that the game is always about enjoyment as well as about the prize money.

Blatant Brag - so you were involved in a deal? Smile

How did Saturday's comp go? Got a blooming wedding next Saturday so wont be able to have a go at this.

Will the saturday's stay at £100 Ricky or will you be launching a "Saturday Skidmark"?

Not much of a brag, Dave.  Only a small prize pool, but yes - I was involved in a deal.

Saturday`s comp overlaid just over £1k, I understand.  Didn`t manage to get there myself.

£100 into a 5k comp does not suggest good value.you get better at Hill st for £50 for example.

Smaller field and overlay must be taken into account surely?
