Hope you are ok Dave.I went out with the customary crap call and out draw on level 8.Aces v 10 7.If any one does play Leicester in the future i suggest grtting there early. The car park is small.and is £4 for 2 hours up to 6pm,when it is free. However the casino do give you the money back. But this means casino members use it for shopping during the day and clubbing at night. The reception was a lovely girl who had been mis informed by the Casino that the start time was noon and not 4pm.which of course was wrong. This i know led to several of the north wales lads not travellling.
The toilets are not exactly big enough to cope with big events. The staff all day though were very good and the card room had a very good valet service.Makes a change compared to some. The comp was run well and took a record amount for leicester of 35k.
Finally Pan Fried can relate to this, the guy who took me out wore massive reflective ski goggles and a scarf.Phil Laak style. He played 10.7 six times and won every time.He in fact  pulled at the Grand Prix in Manchester playing the same hand all day.SO if Q7 is the internet hand then 10,7 must be the new live hand.

Indeed I do.  That gent gave me a chunk of chips, then took them back with interest.

The second hand was misplayed by me though, I must admit.  I limped AK from under the gun, expecting someone behind me to raise.  My plan was then to "reluctantly" call and to have a nice disguised hand, should the flop contain an Ace or King.  Unexpectedly, nobody raised.  We were six or seven-handed to the flop.  I did hit, but wasn`t alert enough to recognise that one pair is rarely good with so many players in the pot.
